The Good Food Jobs Panel for the Taking Root Student Symposium is on Sunday, October 28th at University of Vermont’s Davis Center, 9am-4pm, and is organized by Vermont First (Sodexo), VT Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets, and VT Farm to Plate. The audience for the Symposium is Vermont college students (mostly undergrads, some graduate students) who are interested in how their careers might evolve on a food-related path. The afternoon panel is modeled after the Career Pathways Project run by Farm to Plate’s Workforce Development Working Group.  The aim of Career Pathways is to shed light on range of food-related jobs and careers in Vermont, and the varied paths folks have taken to get to where they are.
